Bledlow Ridge CC had a couple of strong runs in the Village Knock Out competition back in the early 2000s, but sadly very few of the performances were recorded. When the Cherwell League merged with the OCA however, the latter brought with them a series of splendid trophies which were set up as tiered cup competitions for the new League. We didn't enter a team in the first year, but made our cup debut in 2022 in the Steve Dixon Memorial Cup for Tier 6, as it turned out, very successfully, winning the trophy in the final at Charlbury CC. Our defence in 2023 was less successful, although we reached our second final, losing the toss, and possibly with it the match, to Horspath. To read about the (albeit limited) 2023 run, click here.
Individual performances in cup matches are recorded on the Wall of Fame and are included in the figures published for the last five years, but do not go into the cumulative numbers as these are League runs and wickets only. Each cup page has the averages for that year's competition, but below you will find aggregated averages for all cup games played since the introduction of the competitions.
